Hi, I'm Leslie. I'm an author, teacher, proud wife and mom, podcast host and over 50. I'm committed to living a life of meaning and moxie. What's moxie you ask? Moxie means energy, grit, courage, spunk, things that make for an interesting life. I'm guessing you'd like that too!
A Little About Me
I've built successful life enrichment and educational programs at the high school, college and community levels for over 35 years. I love to have discussions that broaden perspectives and deepen understanding of ourselves and each other. My podcast Meaning and Moxie After 50 is my platform to have some of those conversations.
I've authored 3 books: Things to Remember As You Fly From the Nest, Mermaid Meg and the Magic Lagoon and Danny’s Adventures with the Ocean Lifeguards. There’s another one brewing in my imagination currently. Time will tell what's next.
I'm a proud native Floridian and passionate about preserving real Florida. I haven't tied myself to any trees about to be bulldozed yet, but I never rule that out!
I was lucky enough to marry my college sweetheart and we've raised two wonderful children. In my free time, you will most likely find me outside somewhere, traveling or spending time with family and friends.
